Flash isn't going away anytime soon. I first learned it 8 years ago, and back then it was just an illustration, simple vector animation tool with basically no coding. Look what it has evolved to now. As far as I can tell, things on the web are becoming more like desktop apps (Flash AS and AJAX etc etc)....soon we'll prolly see an even better integration of all coding languages and an integration of all medias, Flash being the choice app being that its cross-platform...maybe Flash will be your new browser..or even your OS. MAC's will soon get the Intel cpu, and we'll prolly be seeing a better intergration between PC's and MAC's...
But like one of the other NTer's said, learn any programming language...once you get one, learning another shouldnt be that difficult. Things will change, and 'you'll' have to evolve to it. Better to get a head start now. Darwin fuckers. Just my thoughts.
