mm, I don't think Sony and Microsoft are doing the industry any long-term favour by clamping down so utterly on security - the 360 looks practically unbreakable and the PSP will lose out so much if the Homebrew movement is killed off as is happening now.
Protecting revenue streams so absolutely in the short term stifles creativity and prevents the 'technical access' for the kind of people who should make the lifeblood of the future industry.
Can you imagine what would happen to the web if content simply couldn't be produced without licensed soft
/hard ware?
