No one is moaning. I also believe the MLS is below par. But it as only been around for 6 or 7 years unlike the Premiership and the other Euro leagues.
Plus the MLS is just starting to expand out of American Football stadiums, into parks that will allow real football to be played.
But I really would not put it past Beckham to make the jump for a 1 or 2 year contract (after which he will get the heck out of here).
The capitalist system in place in our other major sports it totally ruining them. NY Yankees, LA Lakers and other big market clubs are dominated, merely because they can buy any player they want.
MLS is owned by multiple owners, but the MLS allow holds the contracts to the players and decides transfers. What we need is a relegation system in place in all our sports.
