tk...it's a bloody good idea. You don't have to be dropping cliffs or hucking kickers to need to wear one...a vollision on pistes with another boarder or skiier...or smacking into a tree...you'll save yourself some head trauma wearing a helmet.
Think about how fast you ride sometimes...what if you were to hit an ice patch and slip out...fall back and SMACK your head...you'll save yourself a concussion and maybe smething more serious if you wear a helmet.
Last year I had 3 close calls - this year I am getting a hemlet!
