    I'm french, and I'm working as a freelancer, have my own company in France. I'm in the US with a tourist visa(3months). I've worked with a lot of NY based companies. They paid me via direct transfer on my french Bank account. Some companies require a ITIN (Identification Tax Number), I only had to fill a W7 form, bring it to IRS and with a letter from an employer that is interested working with me, I began the application process. So, no problems.
