hmm yes. sadly true. I'm over it now.
to add more detail, it wasn't so much what people said to me, but words that were running through my head, and it was VERY important that the sentence started on the left cheek and finished up on the right, otherwise the reply would be starting on the wrong side or force an overlap, this would clearly interfere with the balance of nature and the world may have come to an end. So basically, my internal conversations would have to exist entirely of sentences with an even count of syllables.
I also had the thing where if I looked one way I would have to look the other which I believe is quite common.
