I've lived in both. Each one has its own jewels and turds. I miss SF now that I am in LA, But I missed LA when in SF. Sf Is way colder and I just decided I had it with the weather. Plus I couldn't get a nice place to live without a lot of cash. Yes LA is now the same but I found more Oppurtunities in LA than SF.
Also as for rumors of how people act in either, how bout people are fucked up period. No matter wherre you are. But if you live your life right, other good people find their way into your life. And yes I have good people in both locals. As for the posers, well if you know too many posers, tyhen maybe you need to rethink your circle of friends.
