Cash, cash and more cash. I love what I do but if I wasn't getting paid then I'd probably be too busy working some shitty job just to make money so I wouldn't have time left over to do what I love. So, why not get paid as much as I can for doing what I love to do.
In my opinion there's too many frustrated artists's that are posing as designers these days. If you want to be an artist then be an artist, if you're going to work in a commercial industry then drop the pretentious bullshit, do a good job and get paid well.
