here's my opinion...as nice as it sounds to wait a yr and get the new macintel's or even possibly vista on a 64bit pc's, i think its smart to buy now and stick to current software.
when all that shit hits the fan next yr or whenever, most studios printers and companies will NOT be rushing to upgrade their entire office with the new stuff. i think that today's version of sw will still be mainstream when the new macintel's comes out anyway. most studios are still running CS1. some companies and venders don't even have CS and are still on ps 5 or ai 9.
honestly, upgrading to new versions when they first come out make some things more difficult, because not everyone will be on a compatible version. buy it now!
