  Dont conform necessarily, but the fact everyone is saying it, maybe means that theres something in it, such as:

  Simplicity
  Ease of navigtion
  Not distracting or detracting from your work(s)

  Just keep these things in mind I reckon, or like Kelpie said, dont listen to me, I talk shite! LOL
