no way.. erase the drives with 'zero all data' and do a fresh install, absolutely!
its documented everywhere that you shouldd do this procedure witha new box.. i think Apple even recommends it in there support docs.
if you've got 2 drives i'd recommend partitions too.. leave OSX and apps on 1 full disk and teh second break into partitions..
i've got my 2nd 250 broken into 5:
1/ scratch disk (5gb)
2/ fonts etc
3/ files
4/ downloads
5/ musicetc etc.
