I just made the final payment on my 1999 Passat two months ago.
I was SO happy to finally be able to have some extra $$ in my pocket. The WEEK I sent in the payment my car started stalling and my sunroof started opening by itself.
$700 was the bill for the stalling problem...I told my mechanic to disconnect the sunroof. On the bright side...I NEVER had to put any money into this car and it has always run great.
