what moment or nationwide affect or definition does the NK cover have?
they're just pretty pictures and in the timeline of humanity, worthless

(Oct 29 05, 19:43)Not sure, but that's not really the point. Not all of them have some sort of significance for everyone, but most do. I guess people have to know something about the magazine or the issue to fully understand it. Anyway, I know all about how homosexuality isn't a new thing. The point is that Ellen was one of the first major persons in entertainment to actually influence other people into accepting and maybe even embracing homosexuality, instead of ignoring it. She started a huge trend in many other aspects of entertainment.
I do agree about the political and worldly covers having more value, especially that National Geographic one. But I wouldn't chose it over some of the others.
