im collecting max benefits in california right now, I get 450 a week before taxes, which cuts it back to around 440, or 438 or something. You can collect for a max of 6 months. It's easy as all hell and you don't even have to look for work, you check the boxes sign your name and send it out on the correct day.
The amount you get is dependent on your wages, if you make over 22 bucks an hour I think you get max amount. The length of time is dependent on how long you've worked at your current job. I was at mine for 3 years, I think that 2 years will give you the full 6 months.
They tell you that you can collect for a year, but they only pay you half as much.
