    I did a logo for a construction co and it was a pain in the ass. They aren't the easiest guys to work with. Demanding.
    I would get the guy to specifically explain what he wants.
    Those logos looked very traditional to me, so maybe the guys got his terminology mixed up. Ask him to write it down for you, so when he doesn't like your next go at it you can point to it and say, 'see. I did what you wanted'.
    I ended up telling the client to go find someone else, but in retrospect, I should have tried a more diverse approach - you designs all look very similar.
    HOW had a winning constr. co. logo that was a tape measure with the tape coming out, straight down. That was it, a little axo drawing, no text. I liked it. Made me wish I had kept more of an open mind.
