I think you just need to ask this guy what he means, because the logos look pretty traditinal to me. Maybe you need to help explian what he whats. Matter a fact you have to get him to explain what he wants. But here is a guess as to what I think he means...but dude you still need to have a talk with this guy. I think he thinks (lots of thinking and guessing here) the logos feel contemporary because they dont look like most construction company logos which tend to be "squarish" and heavy. your logos also tend to be a little more complex, look at logos for companys like "CAT", tool companies...most will be all big and heavy...hope this helps and you better talk to that guy cause construction worker dudes kik ass
