  I traveled to Madrid last Christmas for the first time and stayed a few weeks. Theres plenty of art to see, and the architecture is amazing. Stayed in the Grande Via area at a few different hotels. I got both hotels thru a package deal with train tickets for a lower rate. The area was really fun at night, and there was plenty of trouble to get into. Knowing Spanish definitely helps. I love that city.
