the most you can receive is $405, also it depends on how much you have made during aa certain time, as each state is different you really need to find out with-in your state. also there is a waiting period of 2 weeks before your claim can go into effect then with-in the 3rd week the first payment is processed.
the crap part is during those first weeks, the govt expects you to go to the fullest measure to find work. they will send you places and what not.
as the job market for each state is different and the amount of population describes each market the pay rate for each state is also different.
there is a third issue, the company you work for pays for a precentage of the check you get from unemployment and its done by a precentage from the earnings you made while you were working for them. they can as a company not want to pay, thus making you not get anything from the gov't.
