    Just use your letterhead. If you don't have letterhead then create one quickly. Your name and contact details at the top of the page will do fine.

    In terms of content of the invoice, you should include:

    • The dates you worked on the project

    • What the work was (eg print design(

    • How much you are charging (and if you are charging per hour, per day then a breakdown of how many hours)

    • You can also include a job number eg 0001. This is useful when you start doing more work. It also helps you file projects for your archive and records.

    ps don't be embarassed about numbering your first job!
