And who cares if they're seen before getting on the court? If I see a homless guy on the street, it doesn't mean I'm going to start dressing like him. If an NBA player is your role model, you need to get your priorities in check.
The NBA markets itself by selling individuality through its star players - be it Allen Iverson or Yao Ming. Yet while the NBA cashes in on jerseys and merchandise, they're telling the players to scrap that individuality in favor of becoming another suit. What next? Chevrolet sponsors the NBA and all players have to roll up in an Impala?
