I'm with you kona, I'm proud of what I've accomplished since high school. Graduated from college, then took a chance on moving 1,000 miles away to Chicago with very little money and no job, and now Chicago is where I am, have a great job, started out playing music solo right off the bat, started a band, met the love of my life in my girlfriend, made many great new friends, learned how to tough it out when not working/not making money, and am generally very happy.
I know too many people who could NEVER leave home. It's just something I had to do.
