    css and flash are not designed for, nor used for, the same purpose.

    your post doesn't make much sense my friend.

    flash = huge crappy proprietary IDE for pretty things that move and stuff.

    css = formatting language for the mostly static web designed for maintainability.

    i don't know how/where/why you're bringing Java into the conversation, which is a programming language.
