    let me add that too many people build sites in flash just because they dont know html very well.
    Those who are good at web, know all of the mediums, and the advantages/disadvantages of each.
    That way you can build the site using the most appropriate technology(ies).
    For instance, if SEO is of any concern, you cant build using flash, etc.
    There a dozens of languages/technologies for the web, so dont decide on just 1 for everything.
