    black folks dont have ID, as racist and generalized as that sounds, it is true.

    i live in large, urban (balck) us city. i've checked the id's of about 50 people a week over the last five years.

    Even the skiddest of skid row black dudes tend to have id. all, ALL the old people have id.

    Now that i thik about it, only crazy people tend to lack basic identifiaction, and only a small percentage of them...

    this whole debate seems overblown.
