If national ID's are instituted, how long do you think that it will take before they start having to scan my mandatory card. where does that data go? this current government is so corporate, I may oneday not be able to get insurance because I drink beer and smoke cigs. dont doubt it.

If and when the ID thing moves to an abuse of information - I will probably go join the wack-jobs up in the hills.
:) I don't like the ID card because of the direction it will ineviatably lead... a lack of choice in sharing one's private matters... not that I have anything to hide either. *cough
but dobs... dude... c'mon... this isn't a racist tactic to disenfranchise black people/poor people from voting.
