i grew up there... pretty solid music scene, good bars, but very little along the lines of art culture aside from some really highbrow i'll stick it in my mansion art. if looking for places to live, i'd look in the highlands or the new developing downtown before it gets expensive.
where are you working down there? doe anderson? creative alliance?
don't go to 4th street live. ever. it is a giant frat party for 40somethings.
