I lived in Denver for 3 years and most of my quality projects were coming from NYC and LA. I honestly think there are no more than a handfull of decent agencies there and a ton of hacks. I also think if you compare salaries to say real estate and cost of living prices, the salaries suck. But it is an outdoor mecca, and a great place to live.
