the 3 is newer and sexier... the stlus/pen is much better on the 3... the 2's stylus has a cheap plastic feeling which i never noticed until the 3 came along. u also get interchangeable nibs on the 3. i also like 3's programmable keys on the tablet.. i have them set for shift option and command... the three ruined me for the 2 but the 2 stiill holds a place in my heart... they're both good but it's like comparing a g4 to a g5... i haven't upgraded at home because i don't need to... we got the 3's at work when we got our new g5 workstations... so that's the only reason i get to use a 3.
