it'll be th best investment you make... i have the intuous2 6x8 at home... and the intuos3 9x12 at work... i love the new stylus the 3's come with... it's a toss up as to which size is better... i like having the 9x12 but the 6x8 is just as comfortable. they both come with a mouse which is still in both of their respective boxes. i dunno about it helping carpal tunnel though... i just get pain near pinkie above the knuckle rather than behind my index finger with the wacom. you'll also start to type funny because you'll usually leave the stylus in your hand as you type. which eliminates the use of your index finger. at least i do anyway.
