No. I just got it the other day, and while really good, I miss the edge that some of the other songs had, both in rythm and sound. I've liked them for a looooong time, and miss the distorted guitars and impact of some things.
Like the song "We looked like giants. on Trans... Excellent song, kind of dark, haunting.
They def. had the money to do what the did on Plans. Major label $$ means lots of extra instruments beyond a typical band, lots of imbellishment in the production, and often this means the demise of other things (like big, full guitars) so that lots of little things (horns, strings, synth, extra percussion) can stand out.
That is exactly what I thought three songs into Plans. It's good, but it's not wowing me like Trans did.
