Ok, so I could have made the synopsis popup the correct size and saved people a stack of hassle.Sorry index.
Anyone else have any views on the actual site?

Is there a default set of pop-up sizes or templates in web software that designers just use or do you have to specify the size each time?
The worst ones are when an image is just slightly larger than the pop-up window so it displays a scroll bar which when scrolled only reveals a few extra pixels.
