do you have any friends or relatives?
then you have work. do stuff for them and sooner or later they'll hear of someone needing work, they'll tell them about you and have them take a look at your work and whalla.... you have another client.
i've been pretty lucky having a bunch of relatives and friends with their own lucrative businesses and i've designed a ton of stuff for them. now they act as my salesman.
