Nikon D70 Question

they're very very similar cameras.
Seems that the major difference is in
A. The body type. It doesn't state what material the body is made of but since the d70 is heavier I'm assuming it's magnesium whereas the d50 would be plastic. Doesn't really make that much of a difference really.
B. The max FPS. On the d50 it's 2.5 on the d70 it's 3. Again, no much difference but you would notice that if you shot a lot of action (e.g. skateboarding)
C. The max shutter speed. On the d50 it's 1/4000 on the d70 it's 1/8000. Again, not anything you'd notice unless you shot a lot of action (and had a shitload of light at that)
D. The LCD size. Slightly bigger on the d70.
Otherwise I didn't notice any other differences that would make it a major decision. For the extra 200 bucks I would probably choose the d70 for the metal body over the plastic but really that's not a big deal because you shouldn't be dropping your camera anyway.
