awesome gruntt. glad to hear you had a good time. i however did not... almost killed a few guys this weekend.
golfed at a new place on saturday, a public course. now i know why i've never golfed there before. it was a par 32 course with only 3 par 4s. really friggin short. only brought out my driver 2wice.
the course was filled with hackers, now, normally i woudn't mind but i shit you not every few minutes a ball would zip by you from a fairway away. i almost got hit 3 times before the 6th hole and NONE of the guys yelled four.
so on the 6th when from 2 holes away a guy drove one just past my head i lost it and yelled back 'you got a f*ckin mouth? yell four m*ther f*cker before you kill someone' then as i thought about it i felt bad cause probably half of the people on the course had never golfed before and are here to learn.
so i ran and got the guys ball and took it over to him and said sorry.
but a hole later i was pissed again when on a 312 yard par four i was waiting for what seemed like forever for these 4 guys to get off the green. first they filled out their cards, then talked, then god only knows what.... so fuck it. i hit. i didn't really think i'd drive the green but i got all of it and did. as i went to put my driver in my bag i see the guy on the green no shit take his putter and hit my ball back at me. wtf. i saw them hitting into the group ahead all day without saying a word and this dude hits my ball BACK at ME!?! haha. i just had to laugh. normally you just wait until the guy catches up and ream his ass, but hitting the ball back? wow.
3 hours (for only 9 holes) of an absolute nightmare of golf.
i'm going back tonight to play again. the course was good for one thing though... irons. which is what i need work on.
but this time i'm taking a six pack in my bag. :)
