    "ARDEST VOLCANO
    Tambora, Indonesia
Tambora lost her temper on April 5, 1815, and produced a volcanic eruption that lasted five days, during which 43 cubic miles of debris was blasted into the skies and more than 600 miles of surrounding land buried in lava. Approximately 12,000 Indonesians lost their lives in the explosion, while 80,000 died of starvation and disease. The blast disrupted the weather so much that it started snowing in the U.S. in June."

    Snow in June, sick!
