    I have a D70 and love it. but the 20D is a step up - if you can spring for the extra bucks, you'll love the extra performance/features.
    Keep in mind though that body is only half the equation. look into the range of lenses you might want in the future, and see how the different companies stack up there. don't just take into account the body/kit lens package.
