    You haven't explained why the brand is being redeveloped? Perhaps it would be useful to consider how your company is evolving, and apply some of that feeling to the logo form.

    We are transitioning out of FileMaker database solutions and into WebObjects applications. Since our marketability is about to grow, my employers feel that our image should get a refresh -- moving from a ma and pa company into the league of corporate heavyweights.
