  how do you think all those nifty satellites get up there? do you honestly think nasa just sends up an empty ship each time? it always carries a payload from corporations that pay them to orbit their satellite(s)

  absolutely. What about the concept of Remote Sensing as well? Do you think we just go up there for shit's and giggles? We go up in an attempt to learn something useful.
