did anyone read that book _the myth of globalisation_? i used to think that the notion that the market, by analogy with the body, could be a self-regulating organism was a particularly dangerous and naive meme. now, however, i wonder if there isn't some sort of purgative evil phase that has to precede the balance. of course, it's lasted 2000 years, lol.
