    sounds like you're hurting for cash.

    if you can afford it fedex the proposal to them. inside the fedex envelope put another self addressed and paid for envelope that they can send the signed proposal back to you in.

    as far as payment you can do 1/2 up front (just have them put the check in along with the signed proposal) and the remainder of the fee at the end of the project.

    if you really need the cash now jsut have them put the check for the full amount in the fedex envelope when the send back the signed contract.
