Speaking of saving money, I just got a Toshiba Satellite: P4 ,2.53GHz, 40GB HD for $1500
Haven't done any video on it yet, but kicks ass for graphics. No probs yet. Comes with XPhome edition though. You'll want to upgrade to Pro.
