come on, its not really about his dissorganized approach...its really about the status he is recognized at...Paula, Milton, great designers because they have no style...just like bruce lee. its the best technique. they are great designers because their target market has become every paying consumer. Milton has some bad design, Paula too, but all in all they are bad ass because that bad design appealled to someone. it was created for a reason.
Carson reacted to something yet his style and reaction was limited to southern california surf culture. thats about it. and he marketed himself well.
hahhaha...seriously this is how i imagine him back in the 90s..."hmm, i think i want to make a magazine, and thats a program to make stuff, and i dont know how to do it." its as if someone sneezed..and some snooty designer saw it and said art...and the rest is history....nothing more than topic for us to discuss on rockin friday nights.
