i LOVED it.
spielberg at his popcorn eating best. on edge of seat thru the entire film- totally dug the acting and characters. so many amazing moments, visuals and classic images.
the direction and cinematography blew me away.
some of my friends didnt like it- so guess its not for everyone. which sucks- as it definetly aint your standard hollywood fare- no monuments blowing up or one liners by comedian side kicks.
am not sure why folk are seing it as an 'effects' driven film.
its freakling aliens, of course theres going to be effects. get. over. it. and enjoy.
