just my personal take, but if you are concerned about your "career 10 years down the road", i think you may be in the incorrect line of work. i am not trying to be demaening or dense, but being a creative is just that, and makign a decision about being a creative w/ a time slot in mind is absolutely crazy, IMHO.
the work and your hosesty in what you can contribute to it is really all that matters. the opportunities and "doors opened" will come regardless of which agency you are with, or when these occur. people and groups appreciate and will always be looking for the talent, that is only developed if you are open enough to allow yourself for this to be revealed. if you are worried about if it will happen and at what level it will be at in 10 years, i think you may be more interested in a management position or something. again, not trying to be harsh, and honestly good luck. sounds like the best "problem" a person can have. :)
