Some of 'em are twats, but what I'm saying is that these magazines show a very narrow spectrum of the work being done by people today.
I think they tend to look in the same places. And very easily disrecard some culturally important stuff, simply because it doesn't exist in their design for designers world.
I understand it is aimed at designers. But wouldn't the real challege be to create a pro-design mag aimed at the mass market, with an aim of informing the public about the advantages of good design, and giving the public a platform for feedback and opinion.
Maybe designers could learn from their public, or should we just continue to tell them to shut the fuck up, we know best and as a result end up like art, sucking ourselves up our own arse and ailienating ourselves. And let someone else in 'under the radar' and steal our jobs?
