America won't lose power as long as Europeans continue to believe that America is to blame for all of their own problems and shift focus. Wake up folks, take some responsibility and see how your own government distracts you from their own corruption by keeping you focused on America.
*ducks for cover knowing full well that speaking the truth that may conflict with corrupted beliefs doesn't sit well with Euro-nationalists and American liberals*

(Jun 29 05, 06:17)What a load of bollocks.
Most of Europe was and still is opposed to the invasion and subsequent war in Iraq. I konw as a Brit I'm outraged our government ignored mass public opinion on the matter and sided with Bush on this and a great inroad was made in the last election to whittle down Blair's advantage.
I'm curious to know what the "corruption" you speak of is though that our government are trying to cover up using terrorism to keep everyone scared and stupid. Last I checked the labour party here could be called incompetent and spineless but probably not corrupt.
Do you mean corruption like invading a country to rape it of natural resources and then bomb it to the ground so your friends can get lucrative contracts to rebuild it? That my friend is not a European thing, we were excluded from that because it would mean less money for the likes of Haliburton.
We're far from perfect but to be honest I'm happy to go on thinking that many of the current issues being discussed eminate squarely from the whitehouse and the biggest crook elected [sic] to power since, well ..
