Good stuff, my vote is for #3. I was thinking, if the waves are used in the logo (like 1-4) I would like to see 5 strands of waves.

(Jun 24 05, 12:21)I'd like to see that too.. I've done that with a few, but its been hard to work with that many lines without it looking busy, or loosing legibility at a smaller size.
