I just wanted to give an example of two great works.

    One makes a statement...

    The other keeps integrity...

    Why destroy, just to destroy?

In a quote from Jake, on the creation of one of their pieces...

"It took us three years to make 5,000 people. It took the Germans three hours to kill 15,000 Russian prisoners of war."

Yes. That is true. It is much more of a task to create, than to destroy. And the results will prove worth.

Goya created a body of work that was too bold to be shown for three decades after its creation.

The Chapmans 'created' something that only provides immediate gratification. It will be irrelevant in one decade.
