ahh Witt thanks man but that doesn't explain the burn out effect i kind of understand fading things.
the effect is done using AS not 2 images which is why the effect is so good as it doesn't add weight to the file.
i've seen it done but can't remember where or when (i know there were a few example flas being handed around here a while back).
any AS explanations would be great.
