I know, but what do you expect from it? Just because it's different doesn't make it better.
Also, the lens choice is limited.
I never had a SD10 in my hands, but for this price I would opt for a Canon D20 or a Minolta D7D. I took some shots at a club concert with my friend's D7D recently, the AF speed and accuracy in low light and big viewfinder really surprised me. This paired with its antishock feature makes me think of minolta and can't wait till they release D5D (announcement expected soon).
Everyone has different needs, but I don't really see any real advantages of SD10 over competition.
It gives very sharp images, but they're only 3.4MP. If you downsize a not-as-sharp 8MP image to 3 MP it will get this sharp.
